Once upon a time...Elmo and his friends had all kinds of silly adventures on Sesame Street! Hearing the story of Rapunzel makes Zoe wish for longer hair, but when her Hairy Godperson grants her wish, it puts Zoe in a hairy predicament! Then a wizard casts a spell on a grouchy princess to make her sleep for 100 years. Can Prince Elmo wake "Sleeping Grouchy?" Jack is trying to grow a beanstalk - can the Sesame friends help? Silly Endings! Encourage your child to come up with an alternate ending to his favorite book. Together, make up a fun ending and help your child draw a picture of what happens at the end of the story!
Rhyme Time! Play a rhyming game with your child and explain that rhyming is when two words end in the same sound. Give her hints about an object you're thinking of and include a word that rhymes with the object. For example, "I'm thinking of something you wear on your head to stay warm, and rhymes with cat."
